Terms and conditions of participation in the raffle for humanity tombola event

 

The raffle for humanity event on 1 July 2023 is organized by the non-profit organization TRINKWASSER FÜR ALLE with the seat in 3032 Eichgraben, ZVR-Nr. 1712409997 with the purpose of Fundraising for the development of the Multi-Skilled-Project in the Kalahari Desert for the San population in partnership with the Founder from the non-profit organization Pilgrim Movement.

Participation in the raffle and event is only possible under the conditions listed here. By participating, the participant expressly accepts these conditions of participation.

1.Registration\participation

To participate in the draw, you must provide at least your company name, first and last name, telephone number and an e-mail address. The responsibility for the accuracy of the data lies with the participant.

2. Eligible participation

 

“Tombola of Humanity” is a worldwide fundraising campaign.

Participation is open and eligible to all persons over the age of 16 or firms who have correctly filled in all required data and purchased at least 1 ticket from the website https://trinkwasser4alle.at/tombola-2023/ .

Excluded from the draw are the organizers and their first grade relatives.

3. Other conditions of participation

There is no maximum number of tickets per participant.

Participation is only possible via the Internet. The participation is within the times specified in the terms and condition of participation, or until a date specified at the latest.

Children of all ages can participate in the hall event evening on the 1 July 2023. Parents are responsible for their children.

4. Participation period

The duration of the fundraising raffle is from 12.04.2023, 00:01 hrs. to 30.06.2023, 15:00 hrs. During the explicitly specified period, users will have the opportunity to enter the participation online.

 

5. Drawing of the raffle prizes

 

The big prize draw will take place on 1.07.2023 between 18:00 – 21:00 in Schloss THALHEIM | Thalheim 22, 3141 Kapelln, Austria, with live broadcast on social media.

The draw for the surprise prizes will take place on 30.06.2023 between 18:00 – 21:00 with live broadcast on social media.

The winners will be determined after the closing deadline as part of a digital random draw among all participants.

For the Big prize draw on the 1 July 2023, a minimum Sum of 500 tickets must be purchased by all participants (not per person)

For the surprise prizes in the micro raffle on the 30 June 2023 a minimum Sum of 100 tickets must be purchased by all participants (not per person)

If the total amount of tickets required for the prizes are not fulfilled by the deadline, then they will be considered as a donation and used for the developing of the Multi-Skilled-Project in the Kalahari Desert for the San people.

Entries received after the notified closing date will NOT be considered in the draw but will be considered as donations for the same purpose as mentioned in these terms and conditions.

Internal flights in Africa are non-changeable and non-refundable.

Travel and medical insurance are mandatory, please inform us if you need help with it.

Yellow fever vaccination is required for Tanzania.

The passport must be valid at least 6 months after the last day of your trip and have at least 3 empty full pages.

African laws change constantly, and we cannot guarantee the accuracy or consistency of some policies between now and your arrival in those countries. Please be mindful of local cultures and laws, especially in Zanzibar, a predominantly Muslim Island, where dress is conservative.

7. Notification of the Winners

The winner of the big prize will be announced at the “raffle for humanity” event on 01.07.2023 between 18:00 and 21:00, with LIVE broadcast via social media.

The winners of the multiple prizes will be announced at the micro raffle on 30.06.2023 between 18:00 and 21:00, with LIVE broadcast via social media.

If the winners of the prizes will be physically present in the event hall on the 1.07.2023, we will invite them on stage with congratulations.  

If the winners will not be physically present in the event hall, we will contact them LIVE via social media or phone call.

If not answering the call, they will be notified by email in term of 24h.

8. Transmission of the winnings

The winner of the big prize must meet the term and condition requirements at his/her own risk.

The big prize will be offered by Nomad Ocean and Land Expeditions, Inc. Halifax, NS, B3M 1X1, Canada for a maximum of 1 year after the draw.

No cash redemptions are possible.

No transmission of the big prize is possible.

If the winner does not get back to us within 3 months of notification, he/she will forfeit any claim to the prize.

The surprise prizes will either be handed over personally or – upon request – sent to the winner’s address. For this purpose, however, the participant must agree to provide the organizer with a delivery address.

Presentation of the participation ticket and official photo ID or firm ownership document is necessary. The winnings will be valid only after the ID-check.

9. Termination options

TRINKWASSER FÜR ALLE reserves the right to cancel or terminate the ruffle for humanity event at any time without prior notice. This applies in particular if the ruffle for humanity event cannot run as planned for any reason, for example collecting the requested tickets for the draw prizes or in the event of software and/or hardware errors and/or for other reasons technical and/or legal reasons that affect the administration, security, integrity and/or regular and orderly conduct of the ruffle for humanity event. In such cases, TRINKWASSER FÜR ALLE also has the right to modify the competition at its discretion.

10. Data protection

The personal data collected and processed by us will be used primarily for the purposes of processing the ruffle for humanity event and, with the participant’s consent, for sending a newsletter. In doing so, we comply with all applicable data protection laws that are valid for Austria.

In order to participate in the ruffle, it is necessary to provide the personal data requested in the participation form. The participant assures that the personal data provided by him/her, in particular first name, surname and email address, are true and correct. The participant’s personal data will be processed by Trinkwasser für alle exclusively for the purpose of conducting the ruffle (in particular determining and notifying the winners).

The date of birth is required for age verification. The legal basis for the data processing is the fulfilment of the participation agreement (Art 6 para 1 lit b DSGVO). The participant’s data will not be passed on to third parties or made available to them for use without the participant’s consent.

11. Legal action and liability

The legal process is excluded. There is no enforceable claim to payment of the prizes. Trinkwasser für alle is not liable for the loss, delay, alteration, manipulation and/or misdirection of e-mails, manipulation and/or misdirection of e-mails and/or data during data entry, recording, transmission and/or storage, which have their cause in external data networks, in particular the Internet or WWW, in external telephone lines and/or other hardware and/or software of the participants and/or third parties; this also applies in particular to faulty, missing, interrupted, deleted or defective data. Trinkwasser für alle shall also not be liable for incorrect information provided by participants and/or third parties, their hardware and/or software and which are used for or in connection with the ruffle for humanity event.

In particular, Trinkwasser für alle shall not be liable if e-mails or data entries do not comply with the requirements set out therein and are consequently not accepted and/or accepted by the system. Furthermore, Trinkwasser für alle shall not be liable in the event of theft or destruction of the systems and/or storage media storing the data or in the event of unauthorized modification and/or manipulation of the data in the systems and/or on the storage media data in the systems and/or on the storage media by the Participants or third parties. Apart from that, Trinkwasser für alle shall only be liable for gross negligence or intentional acts of its legal representatives, employees or vicarious agents. Trinkwasser für alle shall further not be liable for any damage suffered by the winner or the winner’s relatives in connection with the prize. The foregoing exclusion of liability shall not apply to the extent that liability is mandatory, e.g. in cases of intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health or breach of a condition which goes to the root of the contract. However, the claim for damages for the breach of essential contractual obligations shall be limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract, unless liability is assumed for intent or gross negligence or due to injury to life, body or health. A change in the burden of proof to the detriment of the participant is not associated with the to the disadvantage of the participant is not associated with the above provisions.

 

12. Severability clause

Should any provision of the Conditions of Participation be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. In such a case, the organizer and the participant are obliged to cooperate in the creation of provisions that achieve a result that comes as close as possible to the invalid provision in economic terms.
